Computational & Data-Intensive Innovation
UBC Science Okanagan advances computational innovation and the foundational scholarship that shapes digital futures where artificial intelligence and big data-driven systems are ubiquitous. Our researchers and educators explore the many aspects of mathematics, analytics and optimization, machine learning, natural language processing, human-computer interaction, computer vision and modelling. In addition to facilitating progress in other disciplines, our mathematical and computational innovations pave the way for a resilient and equitable society supported by technological literacy, cutting-edge and explainable technologies, and big data-informed decisions and designs.
